Shopify Store Data
When you connect your Shopify store, we import and store the following data to provide our services:
- Sales history (order quantities, dates, and prices)
- Inventory levels and stock snapshots
- SKU and product information (titles, categories, variants)
- Open purchase orders and inbound inventory
Account Information
- Your email address and account name
- Shopify store domain
- Billing and subscription status (managed by Shopify)
- App settings such as timezone, service level, and review period
Usage Data
- Forecast and budget data generated by our system
- Reorder proposals and purchase orders created within the app
- Vendor information you enter manually
- Sync history and timestamps
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve SalesOracle AI's services, including:
- Generating demand forecasts and budget plans for your SKUs
- Calculating reorder points, safety stock, and order quantities
- Producing inventory projections and cash flow estimates
- Drafting vendor reorder and communication proposals
- Managing your account, settings, and subscription
- Responding to support requests
- Improving forecast accuracy over time using your historical data
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating SalesOracle AI.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Our application is hosted on Render. We implement the following security measures:
- All data is encrypted at rest
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS)
- Access to your data is scoped to your account — no data is shared across merchant accounts
- Authentication is handled via HMAC-signed session cookies
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties — ever. Your data is never used for advertising, data brokering, or any commercial purpose outside of operating SalesOracle AI.
We work with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers in the following categories to operate the Service. Each provider is contractually bound to process your data only as directed by us and may not use it for their own purposes:
- Cloud application hosting and infrastructure
- Database storage and management
- Transactional email delivery
- Payment processing and subscription management
- AI and machine learning services (only aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data is sent)
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about your account by contacting us
- Correct any inaccurate account or settings information within the app
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us — all data is permanently removed upon request
- Disconnect your Shopify store at any time from the Connections page, which stops all future data syncing
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect your store or request account deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems. We do not retain data after account deletion.
8. Third-Party Services
SalesOracle AI relies on third-party service providers across the categories listed in Section 5. Each provider maintains its own privacy practices and security standards. We evaluate and select providers based on their data protection commitments, and we do not authorize any provider to use your data for purposes beyond delivering services to SalesOracle AI.

9. Children's Privacy
SalesOracle AI is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
